Church Groups

Stenhouse and Carron has a number of groups it supports within the Church. The Guild operates a session for fellowship and worship. Commencing from September to April, once a month on Monday evenings. The group is open to men and women. See intimations for details and weekly hall schedule below*.

Larbert Churches Youth Trust

In 2006, several local churches working in partnership, identified the need for a dedicated youth worker. An approach was made to Scripture Union Scotland to explore their Associate Worker Scheme. Larbert Churches Youth Trust was formed with SU providing training, payroll and line-management. The Trust was able to increase from one full time youth worker, currently Mike Glass, to include a part time youth worker, Jack Thomson, in 2014.
Most of the funding comes from local individual Christians and Christian groups, as well as grant applications (e.g. Church of Scotland Go For It Fund). Local churches offer prayer support, volunteers, and time from their staff members.
